Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire has given me awesome things like: "fetch my pagan goat pants" and "his jailhouse boy toy."

Time Warner Cable continues to be a bitch about gouging their customers for downloading stuff.

It's really hard to write and essay with a burned pointer finger.
I'm watching an episode of NCIS, Grace Period (the one where Cassidy's team is blown up). At the beginning of the episode, Gibbs is showing Lt. Mann how to hit a softball and he's standing right behind her, showing her how to hold the bat and he gives her this tiny peck on her neck. The cuteness melted me.

one_exclamation, I thought you might appreciate this mostest.
My midterm was fucked, but last night was amazing. I got to hang out with awesome people and see Watchmen. I'm just glad this week will be over soon.

While awesome, The Princess Bride, the book, isn't nearly as happy or kid-friendly as the movie makes it seem. William Goldman writes that life isn't fair, and his book demonstrates that quite ably.
Dollhouse just finished, and golly gee folks, to my immense surprise its creator is Joss Whedon. It's a beautiful show, and the lives of the Actives when they're not engaged is really fascinating. I can't wait to see more episodes.

Maybe it's a Joss night, because Spike's actor (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), is on Numbers.

I have way too many accounts floating around the internet.
I squirted blood at the technician during the blood drive this Tuesday. Seriously, she was sprayed with a fine mist after she punctured me. My veins are win incarnate. In other new, I'm going to die with all the work that's piling up. Right now, I should be working on an essay. Holy jeezus.

Mrph, this weekend is going to be amazing.

Books

I've just finished reading Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. It's not what I normally read; fiction that embraces the true pains of life, whose ending is as bittersweet as life's. But even when I first saw it and held it in my hands, thinking to myself "I'm not going to like this book, it's going to break my heart," the story enchanted me and compelled me to follow it through all it's twisting passages.

I'm not doing a review, a critique, or even a summary. What I'm trying to do is remember the story, and keep it close.

This contains spoilers for the book. You have been warned.

The Fishy Dance!

Have you ever been a'fishin' a bright sunny day
seeing all the little fishies swimmin' in the little bay
with their hands in their pockets and their pockets in their pants
seein' all the fishies doin' the hoochie mama dance?

I would kill for a back massage right now.
